浜松まつりとは

初子の誕生を祝うもの。子どもたちの健やかな成長を願って、地域みんなで祝いあうもの。

昼間は中田島の凧揚げ会場を舞台に子どもの誕生を祝う初凧が天高く揚げられ、夜は市の中心部が舞台になり絢爛豪華な御殿屋台が優雅で幻想的な美の競演を繰り広げる。
